Born in 1985, Stéphane Fert has been passionate about role-playing games since childhood, which he practices without counting. He passed his baccalaureate, made a detour through the fine arts and finally turned to studies in animation. He then decided to venture into illustration and comics.

He participates in several collective publications, such as Jukke Box or Café Salé. In 2016, he draws and co-writes, with Simon Kansara, Morgane. In 2017, he published Quand le cirque est venu, with Wilfrid Lupano. In 2019, he published Peau de mille bêtes. In 2020, he reunited with Wilfrid Lupano and, together, they signed Blanc autour.

Among his influences, Stéphane Fert lists Mary Blair, Mike Mignola or Alberto Breccia.
