The project, producing a comic book in Afghanistan

Emanata designed the exhibition Hila, Naître en Afghanistan around the project with Aurélie Neyret and Médecins sans frontières. On our artist's return from her mission, the exhibition was based on interviews with the artist, the Médecins sans frontières team and The Ink Link.

It supplements the comic strip with preparatory sketches, photographs from the field and more general information on health in the region.

Available for your premises

The 10 panels, measuring 1.50m wide by 2m high, feature illustrations that allow visitors to immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of a maternity hospital in Afghanistan. The panels are freestanding and can be installed in any location.

Below, photos of the exhibition in action at the Chambéry library during the BD festival and at the Carnets de voyage festival in Brest.
