Pozla

scenario and drawing

A passionate and frenetic drawer, Pozla is a jack-of-all-trades. After training as an animator, he has worked as a designer, animator and director. We find him in the credits of films as different as Persepolis, A Monster in Paris, The Rabbi's Cat or Ernest and Celestine. He directed short films, credits, clips and co-directed season 2 of the series Les Lascars, then signed the opening credits of the feature film of the same name.

Graffiti artist in his spare time, active member of the GM collective, he scatters his career with collective or solo exhibitions, and continues to paint in a big way and having fun with the urban universe.

Lulled by comics, Pozla turns in 2008 to his first passion and creates with his compère ElDiablo, Monkey Bizness, a saga in the trashy-laughing-post-apocalyptic universe, which second volume is distinguished by the Charlie Shlingo prize in Angoulême in 2014. His latest book, Carnet de santé foireuse, Special Jury Prize in Angoulême in 2016, is a graphic journey of almost 400 pages, a raw testimony impregnated with self-mockery, humor and poetry.
