Using drawing as a tool for mediation and community dialogue

During our first missions we realized that drawing, besides being used for the final realization, was a very effective tool of community dialogue. By representing the environment of the target populations, by allowing them to criticize our work, leaving them works, we have been able to establish a special relationship facilitating dialogue.

When it comes to dealing with sensitive subjects, or addressing very different populations of culture, the intermediary of the designer can be very effective to create a space of dialogue as presented below:
